Meet Our New York Staff

Chris Kallenbach is CATIC Title’s Vice President, CT & NY Regional Sales Manager. He has been with the CATIC Family of Companies for over two decades, and oversees CATIC Title’s agent-facing sales and marketing efforts. He is also actively involved with coordinating the company's efforts in planning, developing, and executing CATIC Title’s marketing and advertising initiatives, as well as overseeing new business and product development.

Chris received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. from Tulane University. He is admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and New York, and is a member of numerous bar and industry-related organizations in the Tri-State Region. Chris is also an active member of the New England Land Title Association, and previously served as its President. 

Stephen Maggiola has been in the title business for more than forty years, first as a title searcher, then in private practice after graduating from UConn School of Law in 1980, and later as counsel for title insurance companies, joining CATIC in 2009. He has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate law.

Mr. Maggiola is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. He is an emeritus member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and a member of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the Westchester Bar Association, and the New York State Land Title Association. He previously served as President of the Connecticut Title Association, and is a former chairman of the Town of Fairfield Planning and Zoning Commission, and a former Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County.

James Segreto joined CATIC Title in 2019, and serves as Vice President, NY State Manager for the company’s New York division. He brings more than 20 years of experience and knowledge in all areas of the New York title insurance industry.

Prior to joining CATIC Title, James served as Vice President of Operations for several New York title agencies, delivering operational excellence with a proven track record of driving system efficiencies and increasing profitability.

Kyle Czapiga, Agency Counsel at CATIC Title New York, is responsible for developing new business as well as providing best in class service to CATIC’s existing agents.  He most recently worked as Title Counsel in CATIC’s Fairfield County office, answering a wide variety of title related underwriting questions. 

Prior to joining CATIC, Kyle created and operated a title searching business and worked at a Connecticut law firm handling commercial lending matters and real estate property tax appeals.

Kyle is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and REFA.  He previously served as Co-Chair of the Land Use Committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association.

Kyle received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Connecticut and received his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
