Approved Attorneys

As a Bar-Related® Underwriter, CATIC Title Insurance Company supports attorney involvement in the real estate settlement process.  We invite those attorneys who handle funds at closing to join our list of Appointed Approved Attorneys who are authorized to receive Closing Protection Letters (CPLs) issued in their names.  Our appointment process is simple and a formal application is not required.  All we require is the completion of either an Attorney Request or an Agent Request together with a current copy of your Professional Liability Insurance (E&O) declaration page.  Please send both to NJAA@CaticTitle.com. 

For any transactions being closed by a CATIC Title Approved Attorney, the CATIC Title issuing agent will complete and forward a CPL Request Form so that an Attorney CPL may be promptly prepared by CATIC Title and returned to the issuing agent.
